Our Three authentic Mongolian yurts and wooden log cabin called the”Piggery”, let you separate yourself from the stress of normal life and enjoy being out in the country. We are situated in 2,500 acres of a North Wales sheep farm, amongst woodlands, plains and mountains, with the only noises being the rush of the wind through the forest and morning birdsong. Two hours from London- Chester by train, 25 mins from Chester, 50 mins from Snowden- zip wire/walking/bounce below….

Whilst walking up on the hill and looking over the beautiful surroundings , looking down over the countryside towards the sea, we decided we needed to share this view with everyone. So, 2 x Mongolian yurts were sought and erected! They sleep max 6 in each one, and are laid up with linen sheets, towels etc provided. The yurts are well kitted out with all the cutlery, glass crockery cooking utensils that we think you will need for your visit to Penbedw. Each yurt has its own fire pit and instant gas bbq, kettle and seating area. There is a small kitchen for washing up behind the yurts with an individual shower/loo block for each yurt. Walking is magnificent , you are at the top of Moel Arthur _ on Ofa’s Dyke within 20 mins……
The NEW log cabin called “The Piggery”, which sleeps 2- 4. For the not so adventurous, we now have The NEW log cabin called “The Piggery”, which sleeps 2 in a dbl bed, with futon (sofa bed, to accommodate 2 more!). It has its own shower room shed next to it, along with instant gas BBQ , picnic bench, fire pit and pots/pans/china etc, all you will need for a short stay. It is within the walled garden of the farm house, over looking the tennis court, and peaceful lake, full of wildlife. (we could put up a bell tent for 2-4 more people next to the cabin if needed at extra cost of £80… NB you would need to supply own roll mats and sleeping bags,pillows etc.

New for this season and is kitted out for a family of 8, with one king and six single beds, sofas, plenty of space for eating inside. Simple kitchen, kettle, microwave, small fridge, instant gas bbq, fire pits, sun beds and some outside garden seating - within your own secluded 4acre walled garden, shower and loo facilities on site. TV. Fresh drinking water. Linen and duvets etc provided. Min 3 night stay. For larger groups the yurt could sleep 16 if you bring your own extra 8 roll mats and sleeping bags.
